For your garden to be certified as a Hummingbird Haven it needs to meet all of the following requirements.

FOOD: Does your garden contain the following: *

At least 20 mature flowering hummingbird plants that attract and provide nectar for hummingbirds (native plants preferred)

Optional: Properly maintained feeders with sugar water (no dye!)

WATER: Do you have at least one of the following water features: *

Fountains, especially bubbling fountains

Slow-moving waterfall

Misters

SANCTUARY: Does your garden include: *

Trees & shrubs to provide hummingbirds shelter

Perching elements near plants and/or feeders

Your commitment to keeping cats indoors

Organic materials for nest creation available (optional)

ECO-FRIENDLY: Is your garden pesticide, chemical and herbicide free? *
